Dr. Yaniv Elharrar, the co-director of the West Island Therapy and Wellness Centre, has been working with children, adolescents, and their families for the past 25 years. Over the years, Dr. Yaniv has had the privilege of working with thousands of children and has established himself as a leader in the field of child and adolescent psychology.
Before starting his own private clinic, Dr. Yaniv worked in various schools, community agencies, and as the clinical director of a center for children with various developmental disabilities. He specializes in conducting assessments (psychological, psychoeducational, and developmental) and providing psychotherapy.
Fully bilingual, Dr. Yaniv earned his bachelor’s degree majoring in Psychology from Concordia University, master’s degree in Psychoéducation from the Université de Montréal, and his doctorate degree in Psychology from the Université du Québec a Montréal. Dr. Yaniv is a member in good standing with the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec.
Dr. Yaniv also currently acts as an expert consultant for various schools, mental health initiatives, medical clinics and educational boards across Quebec. Dr. Yaniv has also been a regular contributor on local radio and television news programs.
Together with his wife and business partner, Lisa, they have three awesome teenage children. They also enjoy the company of their two dogs, Theo (our therapy dog!) and Molly.
