Stephanie Brookman, MSW, PSW

Stephanie Brookman is an individual, couple and family therapist who has been working in the field for the past five years. Stephanie has worked in both the public and private health care sectors and has particular experience working with individuals and families affected by autism, intellectual disabilities as well as mental illness.
Stephanie received her Bachelor degree in psychology from McGill University and also obtained a Bachelor and Master’s degree in social work from McGill University. Stephanie has specific training in the field of marital and family therapy and is a member of the Ordre Professionel des Travailleurs Sociaux de Québec. Stephanie uses an emotionally focused approach to therapy and offers short term and long term therapy to individuals, couples and families. |
Elizabeth Wiener, B.Ed., B.A

Elizabeth Wiener has been working in the field of education for the last 15 years. Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education from McGill University. Having begun her career as an elementary school teacher, Elizabeth has since worked with children from preschool through CEGEP.
With extensive experience working on a one-on-one basis with her students, Elizabeth combines her passion for teaching with her desire to assure each student’s success by fostering a partnership with the student, parents and teachers. She loves the challenge of finding creative ways to explain various concepts to her students. Elizabeth also specializes in time management, organizational and homework skills, as well as exam preparation. |
Dr. Amira Rahman

Dr. Amira Rahman is a licensed psychologist specialized in the areas of education and development. She has extensive experience working in the public school settings with children, adolescents and adults with social emotional, behavioral, and learning.
Dr. Rahman also has a research background and specialized training in the assessment of intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Rahman obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Concordia University, a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from McGill University and a Doctoral degree in School/Applied Child Psychology from McGill University. Dr. Rahman is also a member in good standing with the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec. |
Jaclyn Mestel, MSW

Jaclyn Mestel is an individual and family therapist specializing in the treatment of adolescents and young adults. She specializes in issues associated with anxiety, eating disorders and depression. Jaclyn received her bachelor degree in Social work from McGill University and her Masters degree in social work from University of Toronto. She has also had Post Masters training in both psychodynamic psychotherapy, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy.
Jaclyn has worked as a high school guidance counselor and has lectured to parents and teenagers on a wide variety of mental health topics. |
Stacey Knecht, M.Sc(A), S-LP(C)

Stacey Knecht has worked as a certified speech-language pathologist for the past 8 years. She has extensive experience working with preschool and school aged children in both the public and private sectors. Stacey first obtained her Bachelor's of Social Work degree at McGill University and then moved on to receive her Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at McGill. She is a member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists as well as the Ordre des Orthophonistes et Audiologistes du Quebec.
Stacey emphasizes the importance of early intervention and provides evaluations and interventions that are individualized and meet the specific needs of each child. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of language delays and disorders, articulation deficits, fluency problems, motor speech disorders, early reading and writing difficulties as well as voice training. Stacey believes strongly in implementing a holistic approach that promotes speech and language learning through meaningful experiences. |
