FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How can an appointment be arranged?

You can call our office at 514-944-6702 for child and adolescent services or at 514-862-6702 for adult services, or by e-mail. A medical referral is not required to schedule an appointment with one of our professionals. In most cases, appointments with psychologists, therapists and social workers can be made within one week.

Can I reschedule an appointment?

We are happy to reschedule your appointment to a more convenient time. Please be aware that our centre requires notice to be provided one full business day in advance. Missed sessions may be charged at the regular rate. This policy enables us to book other clients during the time made vacant.

What are your fees?

The fee schedule for the various services is available upon request. We accept all forms of payment (credit card, debit card, check and cash).

Does insurance cover my treatment?

We will provide you with a detailed receipt at the end of each session. Many insurance companies reimburse for treatment; although each individual plan is different.

Are the issues discussed during my appointment discussed with anyone else?

Information discussed with your psychologist, therapist or social worker is confidential. In some specific cases (e.g., treatment of a minor) there are limits to confidentiality, and these limits will be discussed at your first session. With your written consent, we may contact your family physician, school, etc, as appropriate.
